Carson’s Success Story
Meet Carson R.
Carson is currently a senior at Woodcrest Christian High School and has been accepted to Baylor University, Boston College, Boston University, California Polytech State University, Fordham University, Gonzaga University, San Diego State University, Southern Methodist University, Texas Christian University, University of California, Davis, University of California San Diego, and the University of San Diego.
Carson received college coaching from Bumo and her younger sister is now using Bumo for college coaching too! Carson feels that at each and every session at Bumo, the coach devotes 100% effort to helping the student in every way and is always willing to answer any of his questions at any time! Carson really benefited from his one-on-one sessions because he was constantly pushed to do his best. The college essay writing process is a grueling one for every applicant; however, with the assistance of his coach and instructors, he was inspired to stay motivated and persevere through it.

“I first came to Bumo in mid-November of my senior year. To put that into perspective, November 30 is the date that the UC schools and many other universities’ deadlines are - and I had barely written anything yet! I came to Bumo with a little over a week until this deadline. Luckily, in this short amount of time, I was able to complete my entire UC application - and I really couldn’t have done it without my college coach at Bumo! Completing the UC application in a little more than a week was no easy feat - I was working hours upon hours every day, but with my college coach, I was pushed and motivated to keep writing. To anyone considering Bumo, I highly suggest starting as early as possible!”
