Being blessed with an array of different experiences, including being a preschool aid, mentor, tutor, and caregiver inspired Joyce to pursue a career in overseeing the development of young students. Joyce graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a double BA in Psychology and Education Science. Born and raised in Los Angeles, she is excited to foster a strength-based learning environment that seeks to apply the multicultural backgrounds of students towards their achievement.

    Join us for a comprehensive class designed for incoming preschoolers and kindergarteners. This preparatory class will encourage the intellectual, social-emotional, academic, and physical development needed for future learning.

  • Beginning Speech (2-3)

    Immerse your child in fun and engaging activities as they practice phonetic sounds critical for speech development. In this class, students are encouraged to bring their own sock puppets, which the teachers will use to instruct the correct tongue placement when pronouncing a sound or word.

    Get an introduction to the alphabet, letters, and numbers in between some fun Bumo songs!

    Develop fine and gross motor skills through hands-on activities, such as threading pasta necklaces, tracing lines and shapes, and working with playdough to create objects.

  • Dr. Kid (3-6)

    Tap into your child's curiosity and empathy for the human bodies and how they work. In this class, students will accompany our Bumo friends to the hospital to learn about basic anatomy and organ functions.

  • Alphabet & Phonics (3-4)

    Watch as your little ones build a strong foundation in letter recognition through practicing phonetics.

  • Circle Time: Play Date 4-6

    Watch as your little ones develop independent thinking and interpersonal skills through this fun, discussion-based class. Students will start the class by identifying time using a calendar and then engage in conversations about virtues such as honesty, kindness, and empathy through story-based lessons.
